About Paddle the River

 Paddle The River, LLC was established in 2015 by Moneen & Brad McBride to spread their love of the great outdoors and rivers to everyone.

In Cuyahoga Falls we offer self-guided trips on the Heritage section of the Cuyahoga River 7 days a week, May-October. We have single kayaks, tandem kayaks and canoes available for a 2 mile, 4.5 mile or 6.5 mile paddle down the river. Our trips always meet at Water Works Park in Cuyahoga Falls which is the ending location for all trips at this location.

In May 2018 Mahoning River Adventures opened in partnership with the Trumbull County MetroParks offering self-guided trips on the Mahoning River in the Warren area. We have single kayaks and tandem kayaks available for a 3.6 mile or 11 mile paddle down the river. Our trips will always meet at Canoe City MetroPark in Leavittsburg which is the ending location for all trips at this location.

At both locations we will shuttle you up river in the beginning of you trip and get you in the water after some brief instruction, allowing you to paddle back down river and end where you left your car!

In May 2021 Cuyahoga Valley Adventures opens in the Merriam Valley section of the Cuyahoga River. We have single and tandem kayaks available for a 7 mile paddle down the river. Our trips for this location launch right at our location and paddle down river to Bolanz Rd. where our staff will assist with take-out and we provide transport back to our location.

Our mission is to spread the joy of our local rivers and outdoors to our local communities in a safe and family friendly environment for all! We also promote good stewardship of each of our waterways and surrounding outdoor spaces!
